Navigating the job search process can be extremely overwhelming. It typically takes even the most organized, focused job seeker 3-6 months to land a job, on average – often longer for those who do not follow a disciplined, proven process. 

Pre-pandemic, companies were receiving an average of 250 applications for every job opening. Those numbers are increasing with the high rate of unemployment. 75% of applicants will be weeded out by some form of technology. Roughly 2% will be called for an interview.

While these stats can be frightening, the upside is that with proper coaching and guidance, job seekers can land jobs up to 3X faster.


Beacon Lane offers 3 distinct program options for early & mid career professionals. 

PROGRAM OPTION 1: LAND THE JOB – immediate access PLUS 3 private coaching sessions:

Beacon Lane’s proprietary employment curriculum, PIVOT12, was designed leveraging what we know about how companies hire, taking into account over 20 years of experience helping global corporations with their hiring practices. Our curriculum teaches job seekers how to navigate their job search in a deliberate, organized and strategic manner. We teach you exactly what to do – and not do – to execute your job search, be heard, and get hired.

This program teaches participants how to:

      • Find clarity amid the career options in front of them
      • Write an effective, compelling resume
      • Define and articulate their personal brand in a meaningful way to employers
      • Network for impact and influence
      • Self promote
      • Navigate their career search, avoiding chaos and frustration
      • Interview through the lens of a Recruiting and Hiring Manager
      • Manage the job offer process
      • Onboard effectively into their new organization, increasing the likelihood of success
      • Build a pathway toward economic empowerment


The objective of this program is to help job seekers gain directional clarity so that we can then design a resume that tells a compelling story. After 4-5 private sessions, the job seeker will be able to start their job search with clarity, a defined elevator pitch and a resume that will get noticed.  The Kick-Start program is intended to be complete within 4-6 weeks, during which time we will:

      • Explore your interests, skills and experience to help clarify a career direction
      • Craft your professional story, message and brand
      • Write and practice your elevator pitch 
      • Develop a resume that will get noticed
      • Create a LinkedIn profile to match


Our private career coaching is extremely selective and is designed for the professional who is ready to take bold action. We will work together for 4 months during which time you will also have access to our on-line employment curriculum. 

Our first 4-5 sessions will be focused on everything that is in our Career Kick-Start program (see above).  Even if you are a seasoned professional, we will kick-start with a healthy dose of exploration and positioning. We will then transition to a collaborative approach to your job search, helping you find, apply and interview for the right positions. This includes interview preparation before each and every interview as well as managing the follow-up. We will also deploy our extensive network of HR and Recruiting professionals to help you in your search.

While we can’t guarantee employment, our clients land jobs up to 3X faster. If you have not secured a job after 4-months, we have a 2-month extension option.
